Advancing the EU's cyber posture
On 3 February, the EUISS, the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the EU Cyber Diplomacy Initiative – EU Cyber Direct co-organised a session to discuss ways to advance the EU's cyber posture to better respond to threats and engage with changing global dynamics.
The session sought to address the following questions:
- What are key trends in the cyber postures of major international actors globally, and what are the implications for the EU?
- How can the EU adapt and strengthen its cyber posture so that it better aligns with the EU’s desired role as a positive and pacifying force in cyberspace?
- With the twin objectives of conflict prevention and deterrence, how can the EU make better use of the revised Cyber Diplomacy Toolbox?
